About Me
Antonia Pepe
Since beginning my art journey in early 2020 with 2 dollar pencils and scrap paper I found lying around, I've definitely come along way. I started doing art because I found it interesting. I began watching YouTube video after YouTube video, and through them I learned that art was much more technical, complex and even scientific than I had previously thought. I saw how so many creators put themselves out there and rearranged their lives to push their platforms and make room for their passions. Eventually I got kinda good at art, so of course I had to make it my whole personality. As I got older I wanted to find more meaning in my art and in time began asking "Why am I creating?". Now I create for a few different reasons including, creating representation for POC, To learn, to expand myself, to acknowledge different viewpoints, and most importantly to put myself out there and show others that they can do the same.
In all, I learned from art that nothing is impossible. Even if you're on that 5th draft, the anatomy looks a lil weird, and your spirits low. If you never draw it up wrong, you'll never learn to revise it. So make mistakes, don't take it so seriously and learn to be a lil goofy.
